Valete but not forgotten....I hope!

In the words of Ian Drayton:

1st July 2021 is the day when I formally relinquish all the Partnership Managers responsibilities to Megan Ohri. I will still be around finishing off some odds and sods before formally finishing on 31st August.

Well what can I say….. I have spent the last 25 years working with NEST and SOAR. It has been the journey of a lifetime. I must admit that when I became Partnership Manager in 2005, I had really no idea what I was going to do.

The inside track sets out what happened over those 25 years, I still find it hard to believe that it actually did happen.

So thanks to you all of you who I have had the pleasure to work with over the years. It has been delightful. Megan has some very solid foundations to build on and develop. I have told her that she will get to know a bunch of warm, friendly, affable, driven, committed and joyful bunch of people.

I heard this quote recently which I think is apposite:

Trust people to know what is right for them and their community.

Welcome challenge as a catalyst for changing mindsets and services.

Don’t be afraid of failure, we learn from all our experiences.
