Razia Din - Senior Employment Coach
"My new role is Senior Employment Coach, and I'll be supporting the delivery of ‘The European Social Fund and the Pathways to Success Project’. I'll have the opportunity to work with and support anyone of working age with looking for work, no matter how far they may seem to be from the labour market. This involves 1-1 one support in their work journey whether it be having discussions around identifying skills development, creating CVs, and confidence building to helping customers with job searching.
I must admit this is challenging amidst potential new lockdown restrictions due to the COVID pandemic situation, however, we are looking forward to re-thinking ways of working and reviving the referral pathways once again, enabling members of the local community to access the employment support services.
I enjoy walking and fitness when I get the chance."
Ellie-Rose Webster - Social Prescribing Link Worker (SAPA5)
"My new role is a Social Prescribing Link Worker and my role involves working with surgeries to holistically assess patient’s needs. From the assessment I will find and refer the patients to various services that can help to improve the patients’ health and wellbeing.
I am excited about having the opportunity to work with the amazing SOAR team that put the client and their needs at the heart of everything that they do. I am also looking forward to developing my own skills and abilities and assisting people to take control of their own health.
Outside of work I love attending music festivals - Leeds festival is my favourite festival to attend! I am also a massive foodie so I love trying new foods and going to different restaurants."
