Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way of not only helping the local community but also helping yourself. Thousands of people volunteer in Sheffield for a huge range of charities, community groups and organisations.

Whether you've volunteered before or not, SOAR is looking for people like you who are interested in volunteering!

Trustee Vacancies

SOAR has vacancies for Community Trustees on its Board. Specifically we are looking for community reps from Shiregreen and Brightside, Southey and West Ecclesfield.

Your role will be to help SOAR deliver and develop its health, employment and training services that are delivered across North Sheffield. Your local knowledge and contacts will be invaluable in this respect as well as other knowledge and expertise that you have gained. You will be able to learn and develop new skills: finance, management, team working, decision making, etc.
