Here at SOAR, we are constantly evolving and changing in the pursuit of excellence. To help achieve this, our recruitment processes are about getting the right people, to fit the right posts. Here is an introduction to the latest members of our Team.
Jane Archer - Reception & Centres Admin Worker
Jane joins the Centres Team, providing reception services and assisting with the day to day running of SOAR Works Enterprise Centre.
"I am looking forward to working as part of the team and getting to know everyone over the coming weeks.
Outside of work, I love to travel, especially to visit my son in Australia. I enjoy walking (not hiking though!) and visiting National Trust properties. I also enjoy going out for meals and socialising."
Jodie Smith - Family Welfare Coach
"I will be making a positive impact on the lives of children, young people and families, empowering them to address various challenges and to overcome obstacles that will enable them to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to make a difference in the north of Sheffield and the wider community, by giving the individuals and families that I support advocacy. I look forward to giving my clients a voice, as many people feel uncertain or unable to express their views, wishes and feelings.
I am excited about my future with SOAR because they have a clear objective; to improve the health and economic wellbeing of individuals and families in the North of Sheffield. SOAR has thrived as a charity organisation and works in collaboration with multidisciplinary health and wellbeing professionals to maximise the positive outcomes and I am delighted to be a part of a diverse and inclusive team.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my boys. They helped me to complete '100 miles in May' for Breast Cancer Now; we raised over £1000 for the wonderful charity. Little legends! I enjoy eating out and spending time with my amazing friends and family.”
