Our Mindful Mamas project creates a safe and inclusive space where local women can build a support network of like-minded mamas, grow in confidence and self-esteem. Keep reading to hear from Cassandra, on her journey and what the group means to her:

Cassandra was introduced to the Mindful Mamas Outreach Project through one of our dedicated BSF Practitioners in our Families team. At the time, Cassandra was experiencing significant challenges with her mental health, which led to feelings of isolation and a loss of confidence.
Through the consistent support and compassion of our women’s group, Cassandra began to reconnect with herself. The welcoming environment provided a safe space where she felt seen, heard, and supported - something she deeply needed!
As Cassandra engaged with the group, her self-esteem began to grow and she slowly started to rediscover her confidence. Her journey has been nothing short of inspiring, and seeing her thrive and return to the vibrant woman she truly is has brought immense joy to our entire team.

At the Mindful Mamas Outreach Project, we believe in more than just support — we believe in connection, safety, and the power of being heard. Cassandra’s story is a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when women come together to uplift and empower one another.
Cassandra will continue to engage with the Mindful Mamas outreach project and has invited us along to her Church to see the gospel singers in action – something we are extremely excited about!
